Portable Device Options:
Each of these disinfection devices are portable. They come with cords and plugs to easily power up with standard wall outlets. The advantage of the portability is that business owners, homeowners, or apartment tenants can move them when needed to rooms that may have more acute needs for disinfection than other areas.
COST-EFFECTIVE DISINFECTION
This advanced disinfection device uses Ultraviolet (UVC) 265nm with a convenient plug for easy wall mounting, and it eliminates over 99% of airborne contaminants.

PORTABLE DISINFECTION
We also offer a range of other choices with ultraviolet and ionization disinfection:
This portable Wall Mount or Counter device below is ideal for a broad range of rooms and areas

POWER INFORMATION
Input Voltage: 100-240 V AC
Input Frequency: 50/60 Hz
Power Supply Output Voltage: 12 V DC
Amperage: 0.800 A
Electric Consumption: 9.6 W
Power Supply Capacity: 2.08 A
SIZING INFORMATION
4 different model #s are available with varying degrees of plasma/ionization output. The key is to balance the size of the room with the Air Changes per hour (ACH). As an example, a room like a dental operatory that is 10′ x 11.5′ (115 sq ft) with 8 ACH, the PR20 is the best choice. See the the chart below:

We have included an ACH Guide lower on this page for your convenience.
Each of the different models is the same size. Length: 10.6” Width: 4.0” Height: 8.6” Weight: 3.85 lbs Power Cord Length: 8’

How does the PR series work?
Ultraviolet light, ozone, photoplasma, and negatively-charged ions exists in Nature as powerful and effective disinfectants, perfectly designed to destroy odors, bacteria, viruses, mold, and mildew, and to break down unwanted chemicals and compounds.
- UV light is powerful enough to penetrate the cell walls of bacteria and viruses, shattering their DNA, making it impossible for them to grow and reproduce.
- Negatively-charged ions attract and bind with contaminants in the air, weighing them down.
- Photoplasma oxidizes and sanitizes
- Photo-catalytic oxidation break down pollutants (including nicotine, urea, and ammonia)
MAINTENANCE: (The maintenance does not require a technician and can be easily done by any facility staff member). Replace the ultraviolet lamp once a year if the device is run 24/7
Germicidal UV-C lamp: $45 or less subject to volume replacement orders. This device does not have filters that need to be replaced.
This portable device below is ideal for Common Areas and rooms with acute disinfection needs.
It typically sits on the floor or a counter and easily plugs into a wall outlet.

Purge Time Guide
The purge time to disinfect pathogens is typically a function of multiple factors.
For the cylinder Common Area device the purge time is based on these 2 factors:
- Air volume in the room. This is calculated by the length, width, and ceiling height.
- The device fan speed, set by the user.
As an example, a large room with a low fan speed setting will require a longer time for the purge than a small room with the device set at the highest fan speed. Think of the COVID-19 microbe floating in the air on the far side of a large room. The higher fan speed on the device draws the air and the microbe to the device faster than at lower fan speeds. The device CUBIC FEET / MIN (CFM) at the different fan speed levels: Speed 1: 144 | Speed 2: 230 | Speed 3: 294 | Turbo: 383 |. On the highest “turbo speed” in a room with 3,830 cubic feet that has an eight foot ceiling and is 20 feet wide by 24 feet long, the purge would take 10 minutes.
For the smaller Wall Mount or Counter device, the purge time is based on the following 2 factors:
- Square footage of the room based on the ACH table (above) on this page. https://purgevirustechnologies.com/portable-devices/
- The device strength (Model #) based on the table above.
These in room devices use a combination of ultraviolet and photoplasma which creates an ion field covering the cubic feet of all the air in the room. The intent is to leave the devices on and running continuously for continuous purge.
